Recovering from a Marketing Fail - Part 1: Your Audience

Read Watch Video

In part 1/4, I'll discuss how making a mistake in choosing your target audience, or not addressing your target audience's needs and wants can result in a marketing fail, and what to do about it to recover from a Marketing Fail.

Even the most successful businesses and entrepreneurs will face the inevitable: a marketing campaign that fails.

Luckily, there's some ways that you can fix your campaign on the fly.  Over the next 4 videos, I'm going to share some tips on how to recover if you are in a situation where your marketing fails.  The first tip is re-assessing your audience.  If your message doesn't reach your audience, ask yourself if one of the following happened.  Did your target audience even see your message?  Are you posting on the right social media channels and are you targeting the right people with your paid ads? Second question is, is your message relevant to your target audience? If you don't know what your customer wants, your message may fall on deaf ears.  Think about who your target audience is and whether you're targeting them with the right message.  I'm Sandeep with this week's Digital Marketing Moment.  Join me next time when we discuss the role of your website in the event of a marketing failure.
